She is one and only, Amanda, who is my niece. She is really cute!! I really had fun with her when I was in Singapore. She is a smart girl, cute, but somewhat hyperactive girl. She is our princess!!! I guess she will not remember me when i visit again to Singapore next time!!

2007 Summer Vacation July 31 & Aug 1, 2007 - Berjaya Time Square & Petronas Twin Towers

We left on July 31 in the early morning and drive by our own to Kuala Lumpur. During the three hours drive, HooiSin took the pictures on the freeway while I was driving.
Two lanes freeway in Malaysia, compare with U.S interstates freeway, it's nothing.

After a long way driving, we finally got our destination-- KL city-- We didn't make any reservation for our hotel, so we park our car and start looking for the room to stay. Here are the pictures that we took at Jalan Bukit Bintang, one of the crowded street in KL. We got there around 3p.m. in the afternoon. After unloading our baggages at hotel, we start to find some food to eat. We were starving after three hours long way drive.

We had our lunch around 3p.m. at Lot 10 food center. Here are our lunch, Unagi don and Tom Yam Noodle soup. The food not very good but really expensive.

After we done our lunch, HooiSin starts her shopping plan. Here are some pictures from the first day at KL. We went to couple shopping malls, such as Sungai Wang, Lot 10, etc. After leaving for two years, I found that no much changes within this area.

Not much pictures on the first day, as hooisin was doing her shopping plan. The next day, we went to Berjaya Time Square to continue our shopping plan. Here are some of the pictures that we took at Berjaya Time Square:

After taking a short break at Coffee Bean, we continued our shopping plan at Suria KLCC, which is Petronas Twin Tower. Pictures from KLCC:

We got there around 7p.m. I caught a good angle to take this picture. I took this picture while we were waiting for the traffic light and it was a good spot to take this picture.

I took this picture looking up at the ceiling of the lobby at Suria KLCC...

The Petronas Twin Towers, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia were the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004. However, the tallest record was took over until Taipei 101. Petronas Twin Towers have 88 floor and below the twin towers is Suria KLCC, a popular shopping mall.

Unfortunately, we missed the chance to experience the sky bridge between the Twin Towers. Hopefully next trip we could be there. We headed back to the hotel and we were so tired after shopping for whole day!!
