2007 Summer Vacation Aug 1, 2007 - KL Tower, Malayisa

Our second day in Kuala Lumpur was to visit the KL tower which officially known as Menara Kuala Lumpur. KL tower is a tower tower located in Kuala Lumpur which was built in 1995. It is used for communication purposes and features an antenna that reaches 421 meters, which currently makes it the fifth tallest tower in the world.

The rest of the tower below has a stairwell and an elevator to reach the upper area, which contains a revolving restaurant, providing diners a beautiful view of the city, and also an observatory area to explore the KL city skyline. As being a Malaysian, I never been there before. This is our first time to explore the KL Tower. We planned to have our lunch in revolving restaurant, but unfortunately we did not make reservation. We missed the revolving restaurant. However, we have a chance to experience the observatory area to look the KL city skyline. That's really awesome!! Here are the pictures that we took at KL tower. We arrived around noon, as we had the hard time to find the place. The weather was really hot!! The view from KL tower lobby:
We took some pictures at the KL tower lobby. They were some Malay events going on that day. Those are Malay music instruments, drums, etc.



The ticket costs RM10, which is less than USD$4. The price is different from tourist. Both of us were excited as it's our first time visit KL tower. I took this picture for her while we were waiting for the elevator.

Awesome!! Here we go!!! Unbelievable!! KL city is under our foot!! We are 421 meters far from the ground. Amazing!! That's a beautiful view!! Here are some pictures from the top of the tower:

We put on the headset device that provided by the KL tower, it contains different versions of information about KL tower history. Also, you can use telescope to explore the KL city from the observatory area.

I guess this picture was taken by Hooisin, it's a pool at the top of Marriott Hotel.




There were some Malay events going on that day. It's a traditional instrumental performance.
Also, we signed up the natural walk event, which is to experience the National forest and is located nearby KL tower, it's called Nature park. It's about 45 mins walk through the nature park and explore the rain forest. We took some pictures while we were waiting for Nature Walk at Nature Park.

Time to explore the Nature Park!! First, we were welcomed by a group of monkey!! One of them was starring at us!!! Scary!!

We were so close to nature. Although we got a lot of scars that caused by the mosquito bite, both of us had fun and enjoyed so much. We did so much things that we never experience before in one day!! It's awesome to experience the KL tower and Nature Park!!
